The project was celebrated at an Earth Day event in Palermo

The CICEE-T Consortium is pleased to announce the achievement of another important step in the project with the development of the CICEE-T Toolbox. This innovative digital resource provides culturally appropriate education for sport coaches in the North Mediterranean area. The toolbox enhances coaches’ awareness and equips them with the necessary tools to prevent and address interpersonal violence, ensuring a safer sports environment. 

The main objective of the CICEE-T Toolbox is to meet the need for accessible and digital training by supporting coaches in safeguarding sport from violence by offering electronic tools adapted to several cultural contexts. 

The CICEE-T Toolbox comprises several sections, each offering diverse learning tools, including readings, videos, reflection exercises, and self-assessments. These components help coaches to reflect, understand, and learn about safe sport coaching. The learning modules culminate in quizzes, and successful completion of these modules awards coaches a verification of completion for the “Culturally Informed Coach Education on Safe Sport” online course. 

The toolbox is available in five languages: Italian, English, Greek, Portuguese, and Spanish. Users simply choose their language and register on the platform to begin. 

The CICEE-T Toolbox is a valuable resource for coaches, providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to create safer sporting environments. It is freely accessible in multiple languages, making it a versatile and essential tool for sports education.
