The successful launch of Project’s Multiplier Sport Event 

On April 20, 2024, CEIPES, in collaboration with several Sicilian associations, organized an event to celebrate Earth Day by promoting sports and health.  

Attendees were invited to learn about CEIPES and the CICEE-T Project, which aims to promote sports in a safe environment, preventing physical, social, and psychological violence. 

Participants from the sport and social environment were informed about the project’s objectives, implementation phases, the collaborative work carried out by the CICEE-T Consortium, and the research results on sport safety carried out in Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Portugal and Spain.  

The response was positive, with attendees showing great interest in the CICEE-T Project and its sensitive themes. The event also facilitated networking within the sports community, increasing coaches’ interest in the educational content offered in the toolbox and their desire to explore its topics for use in their sports environments. 

The event not only celebrated the spirit of Earth Day, but also inspired a collective commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of athletes and sport through the goals and values upheld by the CICEE-T project.
